The Days of '47 and the Rodeo Committee met together to speak about the upcoming Komatsu Equipment Rodeo. This is a monumental year because they've teamed up with the ERA (Elite Rodeo Athletes), and they have the largest winnings up to grab with $411,000 for the top cowboys and cowgirls. The Rodeo runs from July 19-23rd, and starts at 7pm each night. Out of the plaza will be a petting zoo, camel rides, famous Ribs for dinner, and other entertainment. Yeehaaw!!

This is the man who makes it all happen!! Kem Gardner is one of the mastermind's of the Days of '47 Rodeo and we appreciate all he does for us and the Rodeo.
We were incredibly lucky to get lassoing lessons from ERA (Elite Rodeo Athletes) professionals!! Just like the parade wave, it's all in the wrist;)
He said he'd never lassoed 3 girls at once, but I'm not sure if I believe him because it looked so easy for him!!
Punkintown, the official clown of the Rodeo! You could say he's pretty funny. We also got to meet one of the ERA Bull Riders-- we don't know how he does it, but it's amazing!
